Shiremanstown Homeschool Group Honors HMH-463 Marines and Others
Socks for Vets teamed up with Shiremanstown Homeschool Group to present an evening of remembrance and celebration of the 12 Marines killed in the Pegasus crash on January 14, 2016, as well as 7 other Service Members who lost their lives in service to our country. We were able to raise nearly $4,000 for Susquehanna Service Dogs and Wreaths Across America. We only hope we were able to create a night that gave the Schoeller family assurance that SGT Adam Schoeller will never be forgotten.

Socks for Vets introduces Schoeller the Packgoat named in memory and honor of our beloved SGT Adam Schoeller, United States Marine Corps, 4/26/1990 - 1/14/2016. Adam's amazing sense of humor, kindness, intelligence and strength of character already resonate in this beautiful Sundgau Alpine who will be trained to carry equipment for Wounded Warriors, visit Veterans in assisted living and skilled nursing homes and engage the community so they are able to learn about Adam and his sacrifice for our freedom.
